Structural Senior Project Engineer

S. A. Miro, Inc. is seeking an experienced licensed professional engineer to join our team. This position includes the opportunity to design and manage a diverse range of projects nationwide. Responsibilities include collaborating with the design team, scheduling, budgeting, and supervising Miro’s emerging structural engineers and BIM staff to produce quality contract documents and construction services.

Qualifications

Licensed PE in good standing in the state of Colorado, advantageous with additional states.

Minimum of 8 years’ structural engineering experience in commercial, institutional, and multi-family projects.

Experience in project management during design and construction phases.

Technical proficiency in a variety of structural systems, building types, and materials.

Willingness to develop and maintain design and production standards.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to nurture client relationships.

Experience with computer software including Revit Structure, RAM, CSI, and RISA is a plus.

Structural Design Engineer

S. A. Miro, Inc. is seeking a self-motivated design engineer to join our team. This position includes the opportunity to design a diverse range of projects nationwide. Responsibilities include assisting in preparing project documents and engineering calculations. The design engineer will also review shop drawing submittals and perform site visits during construction.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited college or university, preferably with a Master of Science degree in Structural or Architectural Engineering.

Registration as an EIT by passing the FE exam.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with computer software including Revit Structure, RAM, CSI, and RISA is a plus.

BIM Specialist

S. A. Miro, Inc. is seeking a self-motivated professional to join our Building Information Modeling (BIM) team. The BIM Specialist is responsible for model maintenance, including coordinating with architectural and other engineering models. BIM professionals also help maintain Miro design standards, including details and Revit family libraries.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience using Revit 2018 or newer in the BIM building construction industry. Advantage given to those with an associate degree and knowledge of BIM360 or Bluebeam.

Ability to convert architectural/engineering plans and details into 3D models and develop structural plans and details for construction documents.

Strong communication skills.

Civil Project Engineer

Responsibilities include preparing project documents and engineering calculations, mentoring and supervising Miro’s up and coming civil engineers, and collaboration with design team professionals and jurisdiction agencies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering

Licensed PE in good standing in the state of Colorado.

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in land development and/or municipal engineering.

Front-range experience is advantageous.

Design of Commercial/Institutional Site Development projects including utility layout, grading, and drainage analysis.

Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D, StormCAD, WaterCAD, & SewerCAD software, and Mile High Flood District’s design tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering

Enrolled as an Engineer Intern in the state of Colorado (passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam).

Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in land development and/or municipal engineering.

Design of Commercial/Institutional Site Development projects including:

· Site and utility layouts
· Utility profiles
· Grading
· Drainage analysis.

Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
