S. A. Miro provided Structural Engineering design services and construction administration for the new building located just minutes from the Village Center Light Rail Station in Greenwood Village. The project includes an office building and an adjacent parking garage.
The new 299,568 sf office building consists of ten floors of composite concrete slab on metal deck, supported by structural steel framing. The six level, 1,025 space parking garage was constructed using precast concrete framing. The exterior façade of the office building consists mainly of precast panels, which hang from the structural steel framing. A typical panel was 14’ x 30’ and weighed 37,500 lbs.
The LEED™ Certified building is leased to Charter Communications and holds the record for the highest per square foot for Denversuburban office when it was sold for $126.95 million, or $423.78 per sf.
