S. A. Miro, Inc. provided structural and civil engineering for an eleven-story above grade, precast concrete office tower
in Greenwood Village, at the Arapahoe Light Rail Station.
The building features 285,000 sf of office space and 332,000 sf of parking for an overall 617,000 sf. A six-story precast concrete parking structure with 970 spaces is adjacent to and integral with the office tower. The parking structure and office tower share the same lateral force resisting system, maximizing the cost efficiency of the shared configuration. Miro engineers were also able to utilize a precast insulated panel wall system that minimized the number of shear walls to create a more open feel in the precast garage.
A multi-discipline Revit ™ model served as the centerpiece of an integrated delivery process for the project. The overall project has received LEED ™ Gold designation from the U.S. Green Building Council. All precast elements were produced by Rocky Mountain Prestress
