RTD Sheridan Parking Garage

Miro was the Structural Engineer of Record as well as the steel detailing entity on RTD's West Rail Line Sheridan parking garage. The garage requires 525 tons of rebar to support the cast in place, post-tensioned concrete structure. As a result of simultaneous design and detailing in-house, Miro was able to reduce the schedule by 5 weeks and achieve a 6% reduction in overall cost.

Both the Sheridan and Wadsworth garages were designed and detailed with the goal of both opening to the public the day the West Rail Line goes on line, despite the Sheridan project starting 12 weeks after Wadsworth.
