The South Terminal Redevelopment Program at Denver International Airport (DIA) is made up of independent yet physically integrated projects, which include the construction of a 500-room Westin hotel and conference center, an RTD FasTracks commuter rail station, and improvements to the existing concourse baggage and train systems. In addition, the $500 million dollar program includes an open-air plaza which connects the development to the existing Jeppesen Main Terminal. S. A. Miro is the Engineer of Record for both the transit center and the hotel. The complex steel design will be a signature addition to the 4th busiest airport in the United States.
The DIA Hotel and Transit Center was recently selected as the Steel Erectors Association of America's 2015 Project of The Year
