Denver Veteran's Administration Medical Center

Miro is part of a design joint venture for the development of a new Veteran’s Administration Hospital and Medical Center at the Fitzsimons Campus in Aurora, Colorado. The ultimate build-out of the facility for the VA provides 1.4 million square feet of hospital, clinical, emergency and nursing home care for America’s Veterans. A combination of surface and structured parking for 2,300 vehicles is also provided at the facility. The site is located on 31 acres adjacent to the University of Colorado at Denver Health Sciences Center. The scope for this project included the coordination and joint development with the Health Sciences Center, the Fitzsimons Redevelopment Authority, a new I-225 interchange, and the adjacent Light Rail Train Station. This coordination supported the common goals of all parties related to the development of utility and transportation infrastructure. All 14 buildings are fully modeled (architecture, structure and MEP) in Revit Building Information Modeling..
