S. A. Miro is the structural engineer of record for this two tower, 32 story residential project located in Denver’s historic Country Club neighborhood. The project includes 552 high end condominium-quality rental units for 600,000 sf. of residential space. With three levels of below grade and three levels of above grade parking, 365,000 sf. of parking area were designed. The total size of the building exceeds 1,000,000 sf. The structural system is post-tensioned flat plate construction with concrete shear walls. Views of downtown Denver, Denver Country Club, Washington Park, and the Rocky Mountains are provided through the floor-to-ceiling windows of the residential units. The project team worked with the Landmark Preservation Committee to help maintain the historic value of the surrounding buildings. The project was completed in the fall of 2017 at a cost of roughly $190 Million.
S. A. Miro was recently awarded the first place Excellence in Concrete Award from the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the ACI (American Concrete Institute) for our role on the project.
