Miro provided structural engineering for a 7-story residential tower and a two-story townhome building, both over an underground parking garage in Denver, Colorado. The residential tower is a 73,000 SF building consisting of post-tensioned concrete floor slabs supported on cast-in-place concrete columns and concrete walls. The 15,000 SF two-story townhome building is stick-framed with cold-formed steel joists and stud bearing walls. Both of the buildings are supported on a post-tensioned concrete slab over a 36,000 SF underground parking garage. This slab also supports plaza areas, between and adjacent to these buildings, which are landscaped.
