Miro provided structural engineering for a mixed-use condominium complex in Breckenridge, Colorado comprised of six buildings in three phases. Phase One consisted of five stories above grade, with two levels of parking below. Phase One is 177,000 square feet of residential, commercial, and public space over 90,000 square feet of parking. Phase Two consisted of 56,630 square feet of residential/retail space over a two story, 39,550 square foot underground parking facility. Phase Three consisted of 142,000 square feet of residential/retail space over a two story, 77,550 square foot underground parking facility.
The Plaza between all of the buildings contains planters, trees, and terraces. The structure for all of the buildings is a normal weight concrete, composite steel system, with concrete cores resisting the lateral loads.
